Christmas Gifts Ideas D.I.Y.

How's the your holiday been so far? I hope you guys are having a blast. As you know Christmas is coming soon, actually really soon, and that means GIFTS, GIFTS AND MORE GIFTS !! So here are some Christmas present ideas, just in case you have not done your Christmas shopping or if you don't know what to give your friends. Don't worry so much these gifts are cheap and can be with quality if you put in effort to do them. 

Phone Covers

Personally I think this is one of the best gifts you can give someone since nowadays technology is everything. You can get a phone cover from literally anywhere. But here's how to make it more custom made and special for your friend. 

First, go get transparent or plain colored casing. Then, go to your computer and find pictures that remind you of your friend. For example his/her favorite singer or band. Print a few pictures out and start arranging them on the casing. Then, simply just paste the pictures on once you've figured out an arrangement for them. Easy right ? 

Another idea is to get a plain colored or colorful casing - i think this idea would look nicer on a casing with color then transparent - and write your friend's name on it. You can write it in any form or way you want in permanent marker. Be it cursive or your normal hand writing, i think your friend would appreciate the thought of a custom made phone case. Additional : you can doodle some flowers or draw some zentangles around his/her name to make it nicer or you can paste some stickers. 

Notebooks

This would be a nice gift to give someone because school is starting soon and who wouldn't like a new notebook ? Notebooks are like essentials. You can get one from Typo or The Paper Stone. They sell one of the best and nicest looking notebooks with quality. If you find it a little pricey to buy from those shops here's an idea :

Just like the same concept as the phone cover, get a plain notebook from Popular or any other shop you know that sells notebooks. Print pictures out and you can make your own custom made notebook !! Simple right ? You can get some ideas from Pintrest or Tumblr and put your artsy side to work. The notebook has a bigger space for you to arrange and figure out where to put the pictures. So make use of that space and create something nice for your friends, maybe even do one for yourself !! 

Picture Frame

A picture frame would make an awesome gift for your friends as they can store memories or pictures in them for keepsake. You can get a picture frame from Popular or Daiso. A simple one would do the trick. Here's how to glam it up :

Go to Google or Pintrest and search either patterns or zentangles. Find a pattern you like and use a permanent marker to draw it on the frame of the picture frame. As easy as 123 right ? It may be really simple but if you put in effort into it , the outcome would look fantastic. I guarantee you.

What's Wrong With Being CONFIDENT?

How are you guys doing? It's been a while since I've written something, I'm so sorry, but now I'm back. Today's topic is going to be a little eye opening for some of you and might motivate you to do something about yourself - something positive of course. Wondering what it is ? Read on. 

Something Everyone Is Lacking

People are lacking this one crucial thing in their daily lives nowadays, Confidence. If you haven't listened to Demi Lovato's song Confident then what are you waiting for? That song inspired this post and the tittle. She is one person i really look up to. Let's talk about Demi for a little while. 

Demi has been bullied at a young age and she has been to rehab before. She was criticized for her weight and size many times by her haters. But did she give in to them? No, of course not. She wrote the song Skyscraper to proof how strong she's come and say " hey, are happy watching me bleed? Well guess what, I'm going to raise like a skyscraper above all your opinions. " She wrote the song Confident for people who have low self esteem issues or feel bad about how they look in the mirror. Demi wanted them to embrace themselves and show the world that there's nothing wrong with being themselves. Because YOU DO YOU. And there's no one that can stop you from being YOU. 

Another person I'd like to talk about is of course the one and only Miss Taylor Swift. Taylor has been really popular recently after the release of her new album 1989. One of my favorites from that album has to be Shake It Off. The meaning behind that song is as simple as 123 : the haters are going to hate anyways, so just F them and do your thing. It's the same logic as what I've written about Demi above. DO WHAT YOU LOVE BECAUSE YOU LOVE IT. 

How To Be Confident

Being confident about yourself isn't that simple as it may sound beca use first of all you need to learn to love yourself and many find it hard to do so. You need to learn how to embrace those imperfections and love the way you look in the mirror. There's no guidebook that says " How To Be Confident 101 " Okay maybe there is such a thing but it doesn't really matter in my opinion. Why? Because everyone is different and everyone has different flaws that they need to learn how to appreciate. Listen to Love Myself by Hailee Steinfield. 

Wear whatever you want. Wear makeup if you like it. Straighten your hair, curl it, tie it up or let it loose. Wear heels even if you're already tall. Wear flats even if you're considered short. You think you look nice today ? Great, take a selfie. Do what makes you happy. Do what you love. Do it because it makes you feel better about yourself. No guy or girl can tell you what to do or how to feel. YOU BE YOU AND YOU DO YOU :D 

I think the new sexy is being confident about yourself :')
